  1. I slowly walked towards the house, the leaves crunching under my feet. The broken gates were open, creaking in the wind and felt wet and as cold as ice. On either side were scary gargoyles. It was a dark, cold night. The lightening lit up the house and the thunder made me jump. The house was dark and gloomy. It had narrow broken windows and an open wooden porch, it looked abandoned but it couldn’t be, a light was on in the attic room. I started to sweat with fear and my heart began to beat faster as I continued to walk past the bare trees towards the front door.

  2. The gloomy , frightening freaky haunted house is stud right in front of me , trying to haunt me! I can see the black dusty door opening . I can smell warm tomato soup that the vampire will be eating! But I can feel the cold rain drops dripping on my head. Also, I can see the dull rusty windows that are smashed. Why is this place so dull?
And who is in the haunted house , what do you think?
the steps are damp as I slowly walk on them , and are as slippy as my floor when my Mum mops it. I am terrified!!

  3. The house is as spooky as a ghost in your room or a zombie breaking down the dorr as you are sleeping. There are groaning sounds then as a streek of lightning crashed down a window broke also there is a rattling of bones and chains. There is a smell of rotten eggs coming from the room at the top I only thought it was a feroseous zombie eating eggs and drinking gooey sticky slime. Then suddenly a skellington ,zombie and a red back , that are poisonous and toxic, ran straight for me so I ran as fast as I could.

  4. As I stand in front of the spooky mansion I can see the grotesque gargoyles staring at me and I can hear the lightning crashing like drums overhead. Also I can feel the cold, stony bodies of the gargoyles and the freezing wind whipping around my body. I can smell the icy wind and I can taste fear.

  5. I can see lightning striking across the black dark sky there is only one light which is at the very top of the old broken down mansion. In the ground there are three spooky statues which I think have green eyes ,when the lightning strikes they light up frightening any one who passes them. The wind howls through the windows were they are broken so what is inside this dark musty gloomy place.

  6. It was midnight. All around was silent and still. A dusty cobweb flew off the gatepost like a piece of cotton wool floating in the damp air. Suddenly without warning the night sky was lit up by flashes of electricity. The lightening crashed through the sky as loud as a thunderbolt getting louder and louder screeching through the air. In an instant the fragile windows shattered into a thousand tiny pieces like a glass blizzard. Great grey ghostly figures circled around the building screaming and howling their message to keep away. The light in the upstairs window flickered furiously. Was something there? As I stood there trembling watching the horrific scene I could taste the terror that was to come…

  7. Apprehensively, I wearily walked towards the grotesque haunted house. I could hear cold blooded screams beside my ear, warning me of what I was about to face. Suspiciously the floorboards creaked as I approached the house terrified. Hesitantly, glancing I saw the windows which looked like the eyes of a demon. Reaching out to the door handle my shaking fingers slowly curled around it. BANG! I was inside! The house had swallowed me! The mouth had slammed shut!
Who had dragged me in? And whose blood was dripping from my fingers………?

  8. The lightning cackled. The storm screamed in my ears. I tiptoed closer to find a dark, haunted house. I carried on but that was my first mistake. Suddenly, in the corner of my eye, I saw the gargoyle’s head had just moved. Then bats came screeching at me. As scared as a mouse I gazed, worriedly. Frightened, fearful and frozen, I stood there. I stepped back, that was my second mistake. I had stepped into a trap!

  9. As I walked through the scary grave yard to enter the haunted
House I felt the leaves Russell under my feet as cold as ice .
I heard the gates screaking behind me as I walked through the grotesque grave yard I entered carefully and it was full of cobwebs

  10. As I walk down the cold, dark, dusty street I notice a strange mansion type house. The house is as dark as coal. Cautiously, I enter the house. There is only one light flickering above me. I can see humongous cobwebs and gloomy, dusty walls. I can hear the huge iron gates slam behind me. This was the type of house that would be in a spooky story. The windows are cracked…
SMASH! The bright lightning smashed yet another window. All of a sudden someone grabs me and takes me away. What will happen next?……

  11. It was a dark stormy night and I crept up too an old big wooden house. It looked like a haunted house because it did.
At the side of me there was weird cows with horns so big the statue heads on the black, mossy pillar had nearly fallen off.
There was an orange ghost looming around the overgrown gardens it was petryfiing so I ran to my house and ate cake to calm me down and as I was running I swore to myself that I would never go back there again.

  12. In the dark the crooked mysterious old anciet house looked as scary as tigers chasing you in the woods. The steps looked like they would crumble underneath me any second. The bright light shone through the moldy smashed window. Lightening flashed down behind the haunted mansion lighting up the massive cobweb as I staired nervesly at the ginormous spider inside the web.

  13. As I wandered through the dark, terrifying woods I came to a sudden stop as I saw a tall, overpowering mansion with small detailed gates and large, petrifying gargoils as well as the old wooden door standing before me.I could hear the thunder as loud as fireworks crackling in the sky.I could feel the colorful
leaves brush against my legs like a cats’ s furry coat .I could smell the rotting wood and smoke bellowing out of the choking chimney.I could sense the emptiness as I strode past the dying ,rotting plants.

  14. The bright, booming, bad lightning was illuminating the scary sky on Halloween. As I stud infront of the haunted house the gate slowly opend its self up with a slight creek as it boomed bounced and bashed into the crumbling wall that had been struck with lightning!

SUDDENLY! A little tiny witch came out and said oh I don’t get a single person trick or treeting at my house so sh gave me all of the sweets.
she was almost like a robot .

  15. As I roamed around the spooky street, I suddenly saw a flash of lightning that created a mysterious image that seemed to be an abandoned, lonely and very very creepy house.

I immediately ran to the horrifying house. I wasn’t sure if I should go in the house but someone was in the house. Slowly but surely I
knocked on the door. It was Frankenstien! He poured all of his sweets on me as if I was a ghost. I wasn’t surprised he never got
visitors, even though he never mentioned a word.

  16. Crunch, crunch, crunch, went the gravel beneath my feet as I walked down the garden path towads the front door of the scariest house I had ever seen. I had never been to this part of town before but this was the address on the purse I had found, why I had decided to return it myself i don’t know, I was now wishing I hadn’t. As a looked up at the dark spooky house I saw a shadowy figure staring out of an upstairs window, I looked away for a moment but when I looked again, no one was there, the hair on the back of my neck stood up and I went cold. This is when noticed how dark the house was, not a light anywhere, I stopped walking and stood and stared in horror, I was all alone, the only sound I could here was the wind howling through the branches of the massive trees that surrounded the garden, then without warning what seemed like a hunderd black bats flew out of a huge hole in the roof, I ducked down and put my arms above my head for safety, then as I stood up I saw her stood in the doorway of the house, an old woman dressed all in black, she held out her hand and spoke, “Matthew, come in” , I began to shake with fear.

  17. I saw a spooky house there was a bright yellow light at the top Window. I touched the creaky cold gate it fell on the floor with a loud bang like a fire work! The tall gloomey house was as dark as a bat’s cave. As I approached the old spooky door I was frightened that a scary witch would come out of the house. I could smell and taste rotten pumpkin soup, it was grotesque ! I could hear a cat meowing was it a witches cat? There was a flash of lightening and a crash of thunder, I wanted to escape from it , but did I dare knock on the door?

  18. As I crept trough the dark creepy forest. I saw through the fog a mysterious looking mansion. It was a tall terrifying looking building. I walked towards it closer as the lightning struck as fast as the blink of an eye. The gates to my worsted nightmare had opened. I felt the wind whispering for me to come closer. The leaves crunching up every step I took. The trees trying to grab me as I sneaked through. Also the gargoyles eyes focused on my every step.

  19. I heard all the dusty windows creaking as I approached the the spooky mansion .I suddenly saw a flicker of light I knew someone was in that house but then the door opened andI could hear blood being slurped!

  20. As I pass the abandoned, wrecked house, I could see the long, flashing lightning strikes, and I can see the very top light flickering. As well as that I can hear lots of brown, scary owls hooting up in the high, rough trees, and I can hear the gate screaming at me. I can feel the rough, brown trees scratching me with there long, pointy fingers. The trees are as dull as a scull. As well I can feel the hard, mouldy floor. I can smell rotten dirty rats with fangs, and the air smells as horrible as a out of date eggs ROTTEN. I can taste fear in the air I sense there would be horror if I get any closer…!
